Our Mission Statement

What We Stand For

We believe that the fulfilment of a child’s potential, in mind body and spirit, can only be achieved by the school and family working together in partnership.

At Stradbroke School we provide an inclusive education. We celebrate diversity and provide everyone with opportunities for life long learning and high achievement.

Tell me about Stradbroke Primary School…

Context:

Stradbroke Primary school is a larger than average 2 form entry Primary with a large Integrated Resource designated for moderate learning needs. We also have a nursery and a 2 year old provision (Little Teds), both of which are FEL funded provision.

Our vision:

At Stradbroke, we aim to prepare our children for lifelong learning where they can become independent and make a positive contribution to the wider community. A fundamental part of this is ensuring that every child has the best possible education so that they have the skills, knowledge, qualities and values that they will need to reach their full potential in life.

Our curriculum is built around our ‘key drivers’ (see our Personal Development page for more information) and develop the children’s core values; we aim to create an inclusive culture, where the children understand their role and contribute to our community; where the children enquire about the world, celebrate diversity and are aspirational.

Everyone at Stradbroke works collaboratively to provide a broad and rich curriculum that is meaningful to children where teaching and learning are always of the highest quality. Our main objective is to ensure that all children are given every opportunity to enjoy learning, to thrive in a happy, stimulating, vibrant community school.
