Welcome to Stradbroke Primary School!

Have a look at our learning ...

Message from our Headteacher

Dear Parents, Carers and Families

Welcome to Stradbroke Primary School's website. We hope that you find it easy to navigate around and can find all of the information you need as well as examples of fantastic learning. Here at Stradbroke, we are proud of the fabulous learning which takes place and we endeavour to give our children the most unforgettable and inspiring curriculum possible, constantly striving to ensure that all of our children enjoy themselves on a daily basis whilst fulfilling their potential to become lifelong learners. You can read our latest Ofsted report from November 2016 here.

This year the teachers have many memorable opportunities planned for our children as we continue our aim to make learning hands-on and inspirational. We have added to our adventures by running our first KS1 residential visit to Whirlow Hall Farm for our Y2 children, which was a huge success - so much so that we're doing it again - as well as our traditional Y6 residential trip to Kingswood, which was thoroughly enjoyed.

As identified by Ofsted, our curriculum is 'broad and exciting' as all year groups get to experience some enthralling visits with trips to Cadbury World, Magna and the National Space Centre already in the diary for this term and many more as well as unforgettable weeks like: 'Prove It' Week last term and 'Standing on the Shoulders of Giants' Week which is coming up. This culminates with lasting memories and high-quality learning.

Everyone at Stradbroke works collaboratively to ensure that all our children are happy, safe and aspire to be the best that they can and we thank all of our parents and carers for your support in helping us to achieve this.

Check through our Twitter feed at the bottom of this page to celebrate some of the outstanding learning which takes place here at Stradbroke.

We would welcome any positive feedback or suggestions to help develop our website further.

Thank You and Best Wishes

John Sitch - Headteacher

As you may be aware, our school was inspected recently by Ofsted over a two day period on the 22nd and 23rd of November.

The Ofsted Inspection Report is now available for you to read.

Please do take the time to read the report, as we are very pleased with the findings the inspection team made and the outcomes reflect the hard work and effort of all of the children and the staff here at Stradbroke.
